Write it with your agent, get it signed where it lives

Evidence status: Capability pattern grounded in current Oddlynew documents, versions and signature requests in the web app. It is not presented as a customer testimonial.

Who this is for

Teams that send agreements, offers, policies or acknowledgements to be signed, and draft them with their agents.

Outcome

The document your agent drafted and your team reviewed is signed from the same place, without exporting it to another service. The signed PDF carries a record of who signed and when, and stays with the document and its history.

The working pattern

  1. Draft with your agent. It writes the agreement or offer from your templates and earlier ones in the organization; a type such as Agreement keeps them findable by party and status.

  2. Review and save. Your team reviews it in the web app. What is sent is one saved version, so later edits never change what was signed.

  3. Send it for signature in the web app. A member who can edit the document sends that version as a PDF to the signer's e-mail address, and can remind the signer or withdraw the request.

  4. The signer signs. They open the link, sign in with the Oddlynew account of the invited address, and sign by typing their name, or decline.

  5. Keep the result with the work. The signed PDF, with its signature record and time, can be downloaded; the organization's activity log records that it was sent and signed, so your agent can update the agreement's status and what follows from it.

Useful connections and plugins

  • The web app: sending, reminding and withdrawing signature requests happen there.

  • Your agent: drafts, compares with earlier agreements, and keeps statuses and follow-ups current.

A good first task

Ask your agent: "Create an Agreement type with fields for party, status and signed date. Draft a short agreement for [purpose] from our earlier ones and leave it for me to review. Once it is signed, update its status and list what we agreed to do."

Boundaries

  • Agents cannot send signature requests yet. A member sends them in the web app.

  • The signer needs an Oddlynew account for the invited e-mail address.

  • Check what your document needs. A typed name on a PDF is not the right form for every document in every country; some need a stronger signature. That is a question for your own legal advice.

  • Signed documents are kept deliberately. Deleting a document with a completed signature needs an explicit acknowledgement that the signature evidence is lost.

Why it compounds

Every agreement, its versions and its signature live in one place your agents can read. The next draft starts from what was actually signed, and nothing has to be found again in another tool.
