Usage prices

The free credit and the Pro plan's included $5 are used up at these prices, and usage above the included amount is billed at them. Writes, reads, searches and file transfers are counted in units: a read is 1 unit plus 1 for every 64 KiB started that it returns, a write is 1 unit plus 1 for every passage it stores, a search is 1 unit or more, depending on how much it reads and returns, and a file transfer is 1 unit for every MiB started of an upload, or 1 unit plus 1 for every MiB started each time a file is fetched from a URL. Stored documents and stored files are billed by the day, at the monthly price divided by the days of the month; 1 GB is 1,000,000,000 bytes.

  • Writes: $4.01 per 10,000 units
  • Reads: $0.45 per 10,000 units
  • Searches: $0.35 per 10,000 units
  • File transfers: $0.20 per 10,000 units
  • Stored documents: $0.39 per 1,000 documents a month
  • Stored files: $0.025 per GB a month
  • Run starts: $0.28 per 10,000 starts. Each run an agent starts is billed once, on top of what the run reads and writes.
  • Invitation emails: $3.565 per 1,000 emails. An invitation that is sent again is another email.
  • Deletes: $0.98 per 10,000 index entries removed. An index entry is one stored passage of the deleted document.

Files that Oddlynew makes or copies for you, such as PDF exports, signature PDFs, document copies and embed previews, cost no file transfer; once stored, they count as stored files.

On the Pro plan, the Content API is billed for each full 10,000 calls in a billing month, outside the included usage; the calls left over below 10,000 are free. The free credit pays for it like any other usage. Content API calls served from the cache are free. The Decisions API is coming: it will be billed per call and per token, at the prices below.

  • Decisions API calls: $1.29 per 10,000 calls (coming soon)
  • Decisions API tokens: $0.164 per 1,000,000 tokens, on top of the price per call. A call's tokens are the input tokens the model reads for it, rounded up to the next 1,000. (coming soon)
  • Content API calls: $0.59 per 10,000 calls

The Pro plan's monthly price is charged when you take the Pro plan and then once a month. Usage above the included amount and API calls are billed at the end of each billing month, so the first month's usage is on the second invoice. If they reach $100 before the month ends, they are charged right away.

Who pays

Every organization belongs to one billing account, and what its members do in the organization is paid there. New organizations start on your personal account, which holds your free credit. Visitors who are not signed in read public documents for free. When a signed-in person reads or searches an organization they do not belong to, it counts against their own account.

What happens at a limit

The free credit never charges you: when it is used up, reading, search and writing pause until it refills or you take the Pro plan. You can still sign in, open your account and billing pages, and download your documents. On the Pro plan, writing stops when usage reaches your monthly budget, and so do reading and search by agents and the API. People can still open, read and export documents in the app, and the Content API keeps serving; both are still billed, so a month can end a little above the budget. Reaching a limit never deletes what you stored.
