Intelligence sink: spend spare agent capacity on your knowledge
Most agent plans come with a limit per week or per month that you pay for whether you use it or not. Spend what is left on your organization's knowledge. We call this an intelligence sink: like a heat sink, it is where spare capacity drains away and is put to use, and this week's leftover becomes a better start for next week's work, for you and for every agent that reads the same organization.
What to give the agent
Tidy what exists. Merge duplicates, archive what is finished, correct statements that went stale, and make sure each topic has one document that owns it (Reshape an organization as it grows).
Bring in what is still outside. Notes, files and reports you meant to import (Importing data).
Write down what only lives in chats. Decisions, how-tos and answers from this week's conversations, promoted into the documents that own them (Promote Computer History into durable knowledge).
Test what others will read. Let a fresh agent read your AGENTS.md or a Lens and say what it could not understand (Handover quality: the test).
Research an open question. Work through the questions the team wrote down but had no time for.
Help a teammate. When one person has capacity left and another does not, their agent can pick up an open item from the other's work, claimed on a shared board so nobody does it twice (A Shared Claim Board for People and Agents).
Make it a habit
Keep it as a Loop that runs before your plan's limit resets, for example on Friday afternoon, with one measure such as open questions answered or stale documents fixed, so each run starts where the last one stopped (Goals Give Loops Direction).
Good to know
Your client's capacity is not Oddlynew's. Spare capacity comes from your agent client's plan. What the agent reads and writes in Oddlynew still counts toward your Oddlynew usage at the prices on https://oddlynew.com/pricing.
The same rules apply. The agent works within what your organization lets it do alone; anything your sign-off page reserves for a person still waits for that person (Named problems that always close: the sign-off page).
A good first request
Ask your connected agent: "I have agent capacity left this week. Read our organization and find what would help most next week: stale or duplicate documents, open questions, material not imported yet. Work through it, and tell me what you changed and what needs me."
